Michael Xie is the cofounder and chief technology officer of Fortinet, which provides cybersecurity services to businesses like Panasonic and Siemens.

Mr. Michael Xie has an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Manitoba in Canada, as well as a B.S. and an M.S. in automobile engineering from Tsinghua University in China.

After graduating, Xie worked at several network security companies before co-founding Fortinet with his brother Ken Xie in 2000.

The siblings took the California-based firm public in an IPO nine years later. It had a revenue of $3.3 billion in 2021.
