This innovation paves the way for improved maintenance practices and even rewards for vehicle users based on their driving behavior.

Patent №: 11898862 (February 13, 2024) – Virtual testing of autonomous environment control system, introduces advanced methods to assess, detect, and respond to malfunctions in autonomous vehicles and smart homes. By utilizing virtual simulations and test data, Christensen’s patent enables the evaluation of autonomous operation features and related components within a controlled environment. This innovation ensures the robustness and reliability of autonomous systems, enhancing their safety and performance.

Masaru Kito

Masaru Kito received an M.S. degree in electronics from the University of Nagoya, Aichi, Japan, in 1996.

He joined the Toshiba Microelectronics Engineering Laboratory in 1996, where he has been engaged in the research and development of device technology for DRAM

Patent №: 11903207 (February 13, 2024) – Method for writing data of a first memory cell transistor of a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device.  This invention presents a new structure for nonvolatile semiconductor memory devices, utilizing a three-dimensional lamination of memory cells to reduce the chip area.

These memory strings consist of electrically programmable memory cells connected in series, employing pillar-shaped semiconductors, insulation films, charge storage layers, and layered electrodes. By spreading the first or nth electrodes in a two-dimensional state, this novel architecture enhances performance and efficiency.

Patent №: 11903205 (February 13, 2024) – Method for reading data of a first memory cell transistor of a nonvolatile semiconductor memory device. This invention complements his previous patent by further improving the read functionality of the nonvolatile semiconductor memory device. The incorporation of the three-dimensional memory cell lamination and optimized electrode arrangement provides enhanced reading capabilities while continuing to reduce chip area.

Dongguk Lim

LG Electronics Senior Researcher.

Patent №: 11903001 (February 13, 2024) – Methods and apparatus for communicating data on the basis of tone plan. This wireless LAN system involves the AP sending control information to STAs for data transmission. The control information includes resource unit (RU) details.

Patent №: 11902864 (February 13, 2024) – Method and device for identifying packet in wireless communication system

Patent №: 11902066 (February 13, 2024) – Technique for configuring preamble in wireless communication system. A transmitting STA sends an EHT PPDU containing an L-SIG field, an RL-SIG field, and a control field. The length field value of the L-SIG field undergoes a ‘modulo 3 operation’ resulting in “0”. The RL-SIG field mirrors the L-SIG field. The control field includes 3-bit information indicating the PPDU version.

Patent №: 11902022 (February 13, 2024) – Method and apparatus for receiving PPDU on which BCC interleaving has been performed in Multi-RU in wireless LAN system. This invention presents a method and apparatus that enables a reception STA to decode a PPDU (Physical Protocol Data Unit) where BCC interleaving has been performed in a Multi-RU of a wireless LAN system. By utilizing BCC interleaver blocks, the reception STA can efficiently decode the data field received via a Multi-RU, contributing to improved performance in wireless LAN communication.

Patent №: 11902020 (February 13, 2024) – Method by which Multi-RU receives LDPC-tone-mapped PPDU in wireless LAN system, and apparatus. This patent introduces a method and apparatus for a multi-RU to receive a LDPC-tone-mapped PPDU in a wireless LAN system. By performing LDPC tone mapping for the data tone included in the received data field, the multi-RU can optimize the data transmission process. This innovation is particularly valuable when the multi-RU aggregates the 242 tone RU and the 484 tone RU.

Timothy David Anderson
