Patent №: 12217341 – Communicative light assembly system for digital humans. Sensor data determines a user attribute, which informs a communicative lighting sequence. The sequence reflects the digital human’s condition and is displayed via an LED array on its display assembly.

Melvin McLaurin

Technology Expert in Optoelectronics, LEDs, & Diode Lasers.

Patent №: 12218477 – High-luminous flux laser-based white light source.

This disclosure relates to a high-luminous flux laser-based white light source. Multiple laser packages, each containing laser diodes and a phosphor member, are arranged on a common support. The phosphor converts part of the laser radiation into white light output.

Oscar Alvizo

Sr. Director of Computational Biology at Codexis, Inc.

Patent №:  12215368 – Engineered imine reductases and methods for the reductive amination of ketone and amine compounds. This disclosure relates to engineered polypeptides with imine reductase activity, polynucleotides encoding them, and host cells for their expression. These polypeptides facilitate the synthesis of secondary and tertiary amines from ketone and amine substrates.

Patent №:  12215359 – Engineered glucose dehydrogenases and methods for the reductive amination of ketone and amine compounds. This disclosure relates to engineered glucose dehydrogenase polypeptides with imine reductase activity, polynucleotides encoding them, and host cells for their expression. These polypeptides facilitate the synthesis of secondary and tertiary amines from ketone and amine substrates.

Philip Allan Kraus

Technology Leader.

Patent №:  12216015 – MEMS resonator sensor substrate for plasma, temperature, stress, or deposition sensing.

This disclosure relates to diagnostic substrates for extracting plasma parameters. The substrate includes an array of resonators with distinct structures, enabling differential measurements.

Axel Thomsen

Dr. Thomsen received his undergraduate education in electrical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Braunschweig, Germany. In 1988, he transferred to the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, where he received the Ph.D. degree in 1992.

His areas of research were analog integrated circuits, parallel circuit architectures, and floating-gate devices. In 1993, Thomsen joined the faculty of the University of Alabama, Huntsville, where he worked on electro-optic circuit applications and analog circuits for telecommunications.

In 1995, Alex joined Cirrus Logic, Austin, TX, where he worked on high-precision low-power data-acquisiton circuits for seismic and industrial measurement applications. In 2001, he joined Silicon Laboratories Inc., Austin, where he is currently a Design Manager working on timing circuits and PLLs. Occasionally, he teaches at the University of Texas in Austin.

Patent №:  12216487 – Protection voltage generating circuit with monotonic and stable power supply voltage behavior. Two voltage-generating circuits produce voltages with different dependencies on the power supply voltage, causing their difference to change sign at a specific value. A protection voltage generating circuit with feedback-linked amplifiers determines the protection voltage based on the maximum or minimum amplifier output, ensuring monotonic behavior.
