Abstract
The present invention provides a ring oscillator circuit characterized by comprising a ring oscillator that includes a plurality of series-connected logic elements for generating an oscillation signal, and a transmission gate coupled to the signal path of the ring oscillator. When the ring oscillator is in a stopped state, the transmission gate is turned off to block the signal path, thereby reducing the leakage current of the ring oscillator. Compared to conventional technologies, the advantage of the present invention lies in its ability to significantly reduce standby power consumption while offering possibilities for further optimization, such as dynamic control or bypass design, making it suitable for various low-power applications.
