Deputy General Counsel, Global Technology and Global Intellectual Property

Keith Agisim is the Deputy General Counsel for Global Technology Legal, leading a worldwide team of lawyers that support the bank’s Global Technology organization. He also leads the Intellectual Property (IP) teams that manages trademarks, copyrights and the innovation efforts of the bank’s inventors spanning across all lines of eight businesses, which has resulted in record-breaking patent efforts. 

Prior to joining Bank of America, Keith was IP counsel at a leading financial services company, where he structured novel intellectual-property-based financings. He also practiced intellectual property and technology law at Ropes & Gray in New York. 

Keith serves as chairman of the Technology and IP Committees for the Bank Policy Institute and The Clearinghouse.  He is also the chair and lead negotiator for the Quality Patent Coalition. Previously he has served on the Advisory Board for Central Michigan University’s Entrepreneurship Program and Johnson & Wales University’s Entrepreneurship Program.

Keith graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology and received a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the Connecticut, North Carolina, and New York Bars.
