Abstract
An end effector for clamping a slab formed substrate () having a rim section () that is arranged at least approximately and at least partially in a substrate main plane comprises at least a pressing device () providing at least a pressing area (), and at least a support device () providing at least a support area (). The end effector () is configured, in a clamped state of the substrate (), to clamp the substrate () at a first surface () by a pressing area () of a pressing device () and at a second surface () that is, in regard to the first surface (), arranged at the opposite side of the substrate () by a support area () of a support device (). The end effector comprises a guide () for guiding the pressing device () relative to the support device ().
