Abstract
High Specific Mechanical Energy extruder screw assemblies () and complete extruders () are provided, which include wide-flight intermediate screw sections () having axial flight widths greater than the flight widths of the inlet and outlet screw sections () on opposite sides of the intermediate sections ().
