21. Nevada | Anthony J Baerlocher

Anthony J. Baerlocher is the Vice President of Innovation and Mechanical Reels at IGT (International Game Technology) in the Las Vegas area.

He is responsible for overseeing the profit and loss (P&L) of stepper slot products, as well as their hardware and content strategy, roadmap, and quality. His expertise includes intellectual property development and strategy, game design and development, understanding casino markets and regulations, product creation, legal consulting for the gaming industry, and math modeling.

Anthony also leads development teams to drive innovation in new products.

20. Vermont | Edward J Nowak

Edward J. Nowak is a physicist at Quantum Querie. His work involves exploring the foundational aspects of quantum mechanics, as well as applying physical principles to understand the dynamics and mechanics involved in figure skating.

Mr. Nowak received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA, in 1975 and 1978, respectively.

19. Arizona | Bradley D Schweigert

17. Missouri | Eric Leuthardt

Dr. Eric Leuthardt is a renowned neurosurgeon-scientist, innovator, and entrepreneur known for his pioneering work in brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and neurotechnology. As a physician-innovator, Leuthardt has significantly contributed to the advancement of BCIs, focusing on technologies that restore function in patients with neurological impairments. 16. Maryland | Craig A Rosen

Dr. Craig A. Rosen is a prominent scientist and inventor known for his work with Human Genome Sciences, Inc. (HGS). He was a co-founder and served as the chief scientist since 1992 and later became the President of the company in 2004. His work focused on genomics-based research, including drug discovery and therapeutic development. Rosen has been involved in developing novel protein- and antibody-based treatments for various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and infectious diseases

In addition to his leadership at HGS, Rosen played a key role in the spin-off of CoGenesys, a biotechnology company that focused on drug discovery, where he served as Executive Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer. He has thirty years of experience in the semiconductor industry working as an engineer, teaching, and/or performing research.

Forbes is known for his deep knowledge across various industries, making him a key figure in patent consulting, litigation support, and expert testimony related to patents.

12. Iowa | William H Eby

William H. Eby is a leading figure at Stine Seed, where he serves as the head plant breeder. His work focuses on developing high-performing soybean cultivars.

Eby has filed numerous patents related to soybean genetics and transgenic plants, contributing significantly to innovations in agricultural biotechnology.

He collaborates with companies like Monsanto Technology LLC and Stine Seed Farm, Inc., with his patents addressing various aspects of soybean breeding, including genetic modification and hybrid seed production.
