Senior Design Engineer at Gentex.
Jon recently retired from Gentex, a major industrial company in Holland where he had worked for over 25 years and registered more than 160 patents. He has volunteered to help Aqua Clara bring clean water to those who need it. His industrial skill package and his perspectives on problems are unique. Jon supports engineering both in current projects and in developing new projects in Gentex.
Patent №: 11713255 (August 1, 2023) – Water filter cartridge.
This is a water filter cartridge provided for gravity-fed water filters. It contains a mix of titanium dioxide particles and activated charcoal. This mixture is placed inside a housing with inlet and outlet openings. A seal around the housing’s upper edge, which includes a flexible flange, helps seal the cartridge when it’s inserted into the filter.
Mr. Rios received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA, USA.
He is currently with Intel Corporation, Santa Clara, CA, USA, working in the modeling, fabrication, and characterization of advanced semiconductor devices.
Rafael has multiple technical publications and issued patents.
Patent №: 11716085 (August 1, 2023) – Pull-up and pull-down networks controlled asynchronously by threshold gate logic.
Patent №: 11716083 (August 1, 2023) – Asynchronous circuit with threshold logic.
Patent №: 11716086 (August 1, 2023) – Asynchronous circuit with majority gate or minority gate logic and 1-input threshold gate.
Patent №: 11716084 (August 1, 2023) – Pull-up and pull-down networks controlled asynchronously by majority gate or minority gate logic.
Principal Engineer at Amphenol TCS.
He received A.B. from Harvard University and MSME from Tufts University.
Patent №: 11715914 (August 1, 2023) – High speed, high density electrical connector with shielded signal paths.
A modular electrical connector has separate shields for signal pairs. It’s made by combining modules with signal conductors and conductive material. Different-sized modules can be put together into wafers, then into the connector. These wafers might have lossy material. Sometimes, mating connectors have parts that touch at multiple points, even at the edges.
Medical R&D Business Planning at KYOCERA Global.
Mr. Nagasaka received Master’s degree in Particle physics from WASEDA University in 2011.
Patent №: 11713988 (August 1, 2023) – Flow rate-velocity calculator, flow rate-velocity sensor device, flow rate device, and flow rate-velocity calculation method.
A flow rate-velocity sensor device has a package with a light receiver and emitter, a transparent substrate with a light shield, and a flow rate-velocity calculator. This calculator has a receiver, correction unit, arithmetic unit, and transmitter. The receiver gets data on a power spectrum. The correction unit fixes this data to calculate another power spectrum. The arithmetic unit uses the corrected power spectrum to find flow rate or velocity. The transmitter sends this information to an external unit.
