Technical Lead, 3D Cameras & Sensors at Facebook.
Patent №: 11716548 (August 1, 2023) – Timing of multiplexed sensor phase measurements in a depth camera assembly for depth determination using fringe interferometry.
The depth camera assembly (DCA) measures distances between itself and objects within its field of view. It projects sinusoidal patterns into the area and captures images of these patterns using a sensor. Each pixel of the sensor has multiple charge bins, and the charge accumulated during different time intervals (when different sinusoidal patterns are projected) is stored in separate charge storage bins. Retrieving charge from these bins helps determine the depth from the DCA.
Founder, and CEO at Lockton Ventures.
Mr. Lockton is an American serial entrepreneur. He attended Broad Ripple High School, The Lawrenceville School, and Yale University.
His patents issued since 2011 are considered “Foundational” to both the technical requirements to synchronize the mobile second-screen with the TV picture to monetize the entertainment content and the commercials. The patents also cover the methods of monetizing games of skill and chance, based on televised sports, including a family of patents that cover separate contests with friends and games of skill for cash.
Patent №: 11716515 (August 1, 2023) – Methodology for equalizing systemic latencies in television reception in connection with games of skill played in connection with live television programming.
This system and method address delays in synchronizing real-time skill-based games with live or recorded TV events. It addresses various latency situations, including delays in receiving TV signals during gameplay. The goal is to make sure that systemic delays, broadcast signal delays, and variations in broadcast times of recorded TV programs are balanced for fair entertainment.
