Patent №: 12120721 (October 15, 2024) – Enhancements for periodic resources in an integrated access and backhaul network. This disclosure involves a wireless node receiving a first periodic resource with parameters or a priority flag, allowing its use regardless of type. The node communicates with another node using a modified version of this resource, adjusting its allocation or type.

Patent №: 12120692 (October 15, 2024) – Scheduling resources for user equipment (UE) sidelink communication. This pstent describes systems and computer-readable mediums for scheduling sidelink resources between a first user equipment (UE) connected to a base station and a second UE. Scheduling is done using downlink control information (DCI) or radio resource control (RRC) signaling, based on either a dynamic grant (DG) or a configured grant (CG).

Patent №: 12120682 (October 15, 2024) – Techniques for providing an indication of a reservation conflict. The first UE then transmits an indication if any of the reserved resources conflict with another reservation. This indication includes details such as the conflicting resource, the resource reservation, or the second UE.

Patent №: 12120614 (October 15, 2024) – Beam based power control for sideline. The apparatus pairs with a second user equipment (UE), where the first UE is the transmitter and the second UE is the receiver. It identifies a sidelink beam from multiple options and selects at least one power control parameter, as different beams use different power settings.

Patent №: 12120604 (October 15, 2024) – Cross-node deep learning methods of selecting machine learning modules in wireless communication systems. The UE executes the decision-making module to determine a selection parameter for configuring at least one machine learning module. Based on the selection parameter, the UE selects the configuration for the machine learning module and reports the resulting decision back to the network.

Patent №: 12120066 (October 15, 2024) – Facilitating full-duplex operation using an advanced searcher. The method then determines a second set of BPLs compatible with full-duplex operation from the first set. Measurements are performed on the second set of BPLs, and the device communicates in full-duplex mode by transmitting on one BPL from the first set while simultaneously receiving on a BPL from the second set, or vice versa.

Patent №: 12120026 (October 15, 2024) – QoS mapping configuration of an integrated access and backhaul network node. In an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network, a third network node provides quality of service (QoS) mapping information to a first network node, allowing it to configure an IP header for a packet based on traffic type and transmit it. The third node also sends a mapping configuration to a second network node, enabling it to map information in the IP header when switching the packet from a first to a second routing path.

Patent №: 12119971 (October 15, 2024) – Numerology for communications with a forwarding node. The determination is based on factors like the numerology of a control link with a control node, delay spreads of the links with the wireless nodes, or a configuration from the control node. The forwarding node then performs the forwarding operation using the selected numerology.

Patent №: 12119913 (October 15, 2024) – Sidelink beam failure recovery. The first UE selects a reference signal that meets a condition and notifies the second UE using the corresponding beam. Another method involves the first UE periodically transmitting beam failure recovery (BFR) signals across multiple transmit beams to the second UE, receiving an indication of the selected beam, and notifying the second UE of successful beam recovery.

Patent №: 12119863 (October 15, 2024) – Frequency pre-compensation for high-speed train single frequency networks. A base station (BS) determines and applies frequency pre-compensation values for reference signals transmitted from different transmission and reception points (TRPs). The BS notifies the user equipment (UE) of these values, allowing the UE to adjust its tracking loop accordingly, reducing estimation and search overhead.

Patent №: 12120747 (October 15, 2024) – Beam indications during random access procedures.
The UE identifies multiple candidate beams that meet a channel quality threshold and sends an indication of these beams. The UE may then send a single or multiple random access messages on a physical random access channel (PRACH) associated with these beams.

Patent №: 12120655 (October 15, 2024) – Time-division multiplexing sounding reference signal ports. The UE transmits multiple SRSs via these multiplexed SRS ports simultaneously, with each SRS including at least two repetitions. These SRSs are configured to form a quasi-co-location (QCL) receive beam subspace. The UE sets up this subspace, and the base station signals the UE to align the receive beam subspace with the base station’s beamforming direction, achieving spatial multiplexing gain.

Patent №: 12120580 (October 15, 2024) – Selective triggering of neural network functions for positioning measurement feature processing at a user equipment. These neural network functions, dynamically generated through machine learning based on historical measurements, assist the UE in processing positioning data. The UE collects positioning data and processes it into features using the neural network function triggered by the relevant criteria.

Patent №: 12120574 (October 15, 2024) – Relay switching for a remote user equipment. Based on this configuration, the UE transmits a reference channel. The UE may then receive a command from the source relay to switch to a target relay, based on the measurement of the transmitted reference channel. Additional aspects are also discussed.

Patent №: 12120544 (October 15, 2024) – Reducing the overhead of reporting measurements and transmission-reception point (TRP) identifiers in positioning state information (PSI). A user equipment (UE) performs positioning measurements on downlink positioning reference signals (DL-PRS) received from transmission-reception points (TRP) during a positioning session. The UE then reports, via low-layer signaling, the relative value of the measurement, calculated as the difference between the expected and measured values of the positioning measurement, to a positioning entity.

Patent №: 12119973 (October 15, 2024) – Sounding reference signals for positioning. Sounding reference signals (SRS) from a user equipment (UE) can use frequency tone level cyclic shifts or symbol-level coding to increase multiplexing. The frequency tone cyclic shift involves multiple symbols with an extended cyclic shift structure. SRS configuration includes a symbol group level indicating symbol count for the cyclic shift and an outer code multiplier to enhance multiplexing. The symbol-level code may show a linear phase rotation across tones in the symbol group.

Patent №: 12119940 (October 15, 2024) – Hybrid automatic repeat request processes for sub-band full duplex. User equipment (UE) identifies slots for transmitting or receiving information related to HARQ processes in a frame structure with sub-band full duplex (SBFD) and time division duplex (TDD) slots. Using a first slot for control information, the UE determines a second slot for PUSCH or PDSCH communication by calculating slot offsets, which may exclude certain slot types.

Patent №: 12117547 (October 15, 2024) – Base station antenna array orientation calibration for cellular positioning. This disclosure presents techniques for wireless communication where a network entity determines the location of a target base station and at least one reference device. It calculates the angle-of-arrival (AoA) of reference signals received by the base station’s antenna array from the reference device and compares it with the expected AoA based on their locations. The orientation offset of the antenna array is then determined based on the difference between the expected and measured AoA.
