Additionally, the module includes a passive optical element, which could be on the module cover, the device’s top surface, or the overmold. Fabrication methods are also provided, aiming to streamline manufacturing using wafer-level processes.

The disclosed method operates an LTE system on a shared frequency spectrum. A UE initializes on an LTE band, and an eNB checks if the spectrum is BUSY. If not, the eNB transmits to the UE. If BUSY, it waits briefly before directing the UE to vacate the spectrum.
