Patent №: 12007853 (June 11, 2024) – Clustered asset backup in non-federated way. In one or more embodiments, a cluster manager determines which data node should perform a backup by running a pre-backup step to identify the preferred node. Upon receiving a backup request, the cluster manager queries this node. If still optimal, the node performs the backup; if not, it signals the cluster manager with an alternative, which then performs the backup.

Patent №: 12007852 (June 11, 2024) – Systems and methods for backing up clustered and non-clustered data. A cluster manager runs a pre-backup step to identify the preferred data node. Upon receiving a backup request, it queries this node; if optimal, the node performs the backup. If not, the node signals an alternative, which then performs the backup.

Patent №: 12007851 (June 11, 2024) – Differential checksum validation. A configuration file specifies a percentage of data to validate. A synthetic full backup on cloud storage, created by merging changed blocks from an incremental backup with a previous backup, is accessed. A bitmap of changed block locations is examined to identify a region from the first to the last changed block.
