Abstract

The present compositions and methods relate to a beta-mannanase from, polynucleotides encoding the beta-mannanase, and methods of make and/or use thereof. Formulations containing the beta-mannanase are suitable for use in hydrolyzing lignocellulosic biomass substrates, especially those comprising a measurable level of galactoglucomannan (GGM) and/or glucomannan (GM).
