Abstract

A composition and a method of preparing the composition are provided herein. The composition comprises an active substance and a polymeric additive comprising at least one unit represented by the formula (I): wherein each R is independently selected from the group of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, and combinations thereof; and Z comprises at least 10 units represented by the formula (II): wherein each Ris independently selected from the group of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a carbonyl group, a hydroxyl group, an ether group, and combinations thereof and Ris a C-Chydrocarbon group. The polymeric additive further comprising at least one unit represented by the formula (III):A  (III)wherein A is an alkyleneoxy group having from 2 to 10 carbon atoms.
