Abstract
The invention relates to a multistage gearbox for motor vehicles, having a plurality of forward gears and at least one reverse gear, consisting of a plurality of 3-shaft gearboxes and a plurality of shifting elements, with a driveshaft (W), an output shaft (W) and a plurality of gearbox shafts, differential shifts and sum shafts, wherein: a first differential shaft (d) of a first 3-shaft gearbox (RS) is connected for conjoint rotation to a first differential shaft (d) of a second 3-shaft gearbox (RS); the driveshaft (W) and a sum shaft (s) of the second 3-shaft gearbox (RS) are connected for conjoint rotation; a fourth gearbox shaft (W; W) and a second differential shaft (d) of the second 3-shaft gearbox (RS) are connected for conjoint rotation; the fourth gearbox shaft (W; W) or a fifth gearbox shaft (W) is connected for conjoint rotation to a first differential shaft (d) of a third 3-shaft gearbox (RS); and a third gearbox shaft (W) and a second differential shaft (d) of the first 3-shaft gearbox (RS) are connected for conjoint rotation. A high functionality can be achieved by connecting a sum shaft (s) of a first 3-shaft gearbox (RS) for conjoint rotation to a sum shaft (s) of the third 3-shaft gearbox (RS), and by connecting the output shaft (W) and a second differential shaft (d) of the third 3-shaft gearbox (RS) for conjoint rotation.
