Abstract
An electrical card connector () includes an insulative housing (), a number of contacts () retained in the insulative housing, a metal shell () covering the insulative housing for defining a receiving space () and having an opening () extending along a front-and-rear direction, and a slider () movable on the insulative housing along the front-and-rear direction. The slider includes a base portion (), an operating portion () extending upwardly from the base portion to be exposed outside of the metal shell through the opening, and an actuating portion () extending sidewardly from the base portion into the receiving space for ejecting an insertion card. The operating portion is operable to move the slider.
