Abstract
A method is described for determining the antioxidant power of biological fluids such as saliva, serum, plasma, urine, sweat, tears and vegetal fluids, such as fruit, vegetables, beverages derived therefrom. Said method proved to be particularly suitable when evaluating the antioxidant power of saliva, which presents particular complexities from the analytical viewpoint. Furthermore, the present invention concerns a specific reagent and a kit for implementing said method, which comprises said reagent.
