Abstract
An electrical connector () includes an insulative housing () having a frame portion () and a tongue portion () extending forwardly from the frame portion (), a number of terminals () retained in the tongue portion (), and a metal shell (). The frame portion () includes a top wall (), a pair of side walls (), a rear wall () and a bottom wall (). The metal shell () includes a top board (), a pair of side boards (), a bottom board () and a window () defined in a rear end. The insulative housing is insert-molded with the metal shell and the terminals so that the rear wall seals up the window.
