A printing apparatus for conducting direct printing from a client computer via a web browser, having a storage unitandstores print setting information and a URL associated with the print setting information, and a job control unitreads from the storage unit the print setting information associated with the URL entered by a user into the web browser, in order to reflect the print setting information as print setting of print data.
