Abstract

The present invention provides a method for producing L-amino acid using a bacterium belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae, particularly a motile bacterium belonging to the genusor, wherein the bacterium has been modified so that expression of at least one gene of the flagella formation and motility cascade is enhanced.
