The invention relates to the use of succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors, especially of fluopyram, for controllingssp., to a method for treating plants or plant parts for controllingssp. and to a method for treating seed for controllingssp. in the seed and in the plants which grow from the seed, by treating the seed with a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor.
