Abstract

[Problem] To provide an antibacterial agent which can be limited to the required location on the surface of a material without mixing and has excellent antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects even at low concentrations of the active component without elution or volatilization. [Solution] An antibacterial agent that contains as an active component a resin having an organic group represented by general formula (I-1). (In the formula (I-1), Rand Rmutually independently represent a C-Cfluoroalkyl group. 'C' and 'A' are bonded to each other through a covalent bond or an ionic bond, and “A” represents a hydrogen atom or a cation.)
