Abstract
A phosphor substrate () includes a substrate (), phosphor layers (R,G, andB) which are disposed on the substrate () and which emit fluorescences (L) using incident excitation light (L), and a partition () surrounding side faces of the phosphor layers (R,G, andB), in which at least portions of the partition () in contact with the phosphor layers (R,G, andB) have light-scattering properties.
