Abstract
A socket which enables occurrence of contact defects to be suppressed is provided. A socketto which a test carrier, which has: a base filmon which bumpsare formed for contact with electrode padsof a die; and external terminalswhich are electrically connected to the bumps, is electrically connected comprises: contactorswhich contact external terminals; and an elastic memberwhich pushes against bump-forming portionsand bump-surrounding portionson the base film. The elastic memberhas: a first elastic layer; and a second elastic layerwhich is more flexible than the first elastic layer, and a second elastic layeris laid over the first elastic layerand contacts the base film
