Abstract

The present invention provides a banknote storing/feeding devicethat can increase a storing amount of banknotes while the device is made compact as a whole. The banknote storing/feeding device includes a winding rollerthat winds and unwinds banknotes together with a tape, and a reelthat winds and unwinds the tapewith respect to the winding roller. The banknote storing/feeding device includes a motorincluding a motor main bodydisposed inside the winding roller, and a first drive axisand a second drive axisprojecting from a first end portion side and a second end portion side of the motor main body. The banknote storing/feeding device includes a transmission mechanismthat transmits a drive force from the second drive axisof the motorto the reel. A drive force from the first drive axisof the motoris transmitted to the winding rollerto rotate the winding roller. A drive force of the second drive axisof the motoris transmitted to the reelto rotate the reel
