To be able to simulate any desired kind of driving state with a test vehicle it is envisioned to connect an active secondary vehicleto the front or rear of the test vehicle, and wherein the secondary vehicleis equipped with its own drive and load deviceby which the test vehicleis braked and/or pushed additionally to its own deceleration and/or acceleration.
