Abstract
An integrally-rotating cylindrical sieveincludes a hollow rotating shaft, which a driveshaftis inserted into and fixed to, support membersradially extended from the rotating shaft, a cylindrical sieve bodymade from a thin plate with a large number of aperturesformed therein, such as punching metal, and coupled with the support members, and sieve framesandattached to axial ends of the sieve body. The rotating shaft, the support members, the sieve body, the sieve framesand, and the driveshaftare coaxially rotated together. The sieve bodyis a cylindrical corrugated plate having wave crests and wave troughs arranged along its circumference and has a large number of aperturesformed in the corrugated plate. This arrangement improves the sieving efficiency of the granular material and effectively prevents potential destruction and cracking of the granular material, thus enhancing the commercial value of the sieved granular material.
