Abstract

Inhibitors of dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) for theenzyme have been identified and characterized. The inhibitors have high specificity, submicromolar efficacy against cultured parasite strains, exhibit drug-like properties, and are not overtly cytotoxic.
