Abstract

A differential SR flip-flopreceives a set signal S and a reset signal R, and generates a differential output pair Q and #Q. A first flip-flop FFgenerates a non-inverted output signal Qand an inverted output signal #Q. A second flip-flop FFgenerates a non-inverted output signal Qand an inverted output signal #Q. An averaging circuitaverages one output signal (Q) of the first flip-flop FFand one output signal (Q) of the second flip-flop FFso as to generate a first output signal Q, and averages the other output signal (#Q) of the first flip-flop FFand the other output signal (#Q) of the second flip-flop FFso as to generate a second output signal #Q. As a differential output pair, the differential SR flip-flopoutputs a signal that corresponds to the first output signal Qand a signal that corresponds to the second output signal #Q
