Abstract
The present invention relates to an improved process for the production of Daptomycin by fermentation with, in the presence of n-decanal oroil as sources of the n-decanoyl side chain. These reagents allow to reduce toxicity effects on the bacteria and to avoid the use of solvents in the feeding solution.
