Abstract
A solid-state imaging apparatuses IScomprises a package P, a CCD chip, chip resistor arrays, etc. In package P, a mounting portion, for mounting CCD chipand chip resistor arrays, is disposed so as to protrude into a hollow portion. Mounting portionhas a first planar portionand second planar portions, and first planar portionand second planar portionsare formed to be stepped with respect to each other. CCD chipis mounted and fixed on first planar portionvia a spacer. Chip resistor arraysare mounted and fixed on second planar portions. Using the step difference between first planar portionand second planar portions, CCD chipand chip resistor arraysare positioned proximally.
