Abstract
To reduce the complexity of an indicating systemon an internal combustion engine for determining a parameter, the invention provides that on the basis of the measured variable a computing unitfor the indicating systemcomputes crank angle information, and on the basis of the crank angle information thus computed and the measured variable determines an engine parameter.
