Abstract
A needle valvehaving a seat contact sectionat a leading end is provided. A nozzle bodyhaving a seat sectionwith which the seat contact sectioncomes into contact is provided. The nozzle bodycomprises a tapered surface, which includes the seat section, and a fuel receiver section, which includes a spherically shaped sack wall surface. The leading end of the needle valvecomprises a first protrusion, which is tapered to have a greater taper angle than the tapered surface, and a second protrusion, which is tapered to have a smaller taper angle than the first protrusion. More specifically, the second protrusionis conically shaped.
