Abstract
A method of monitoring processor resources. To monitor a processor resource, first a set of needed resources is determined at the beginning of a block of code. A test is then performed to determine if the set of needed resources is available at the start of the block of code. An error is signaled if the needed resources are not available at the beginning of the block of code.
