Abstract
The present invention is concerned with an axial-flow or mixed-flow inducer () which is disposed upstream of a main impeller () for improving the suction capability of a pump such as a turbopump. In the inducer (), a blade angle (β) from a tip (T) to a hub (H) at a blade leading edge () is substantially the same as an inlet flow angle (β) at a designed flow rate.
