Abstract

A needle-free injection device capable of delivering pressurized injections to an injection site. The device may include a barrier dispenser configured to provide a disposable piece of barrier material for each injection, so as to reduce risk of cross-contamination. The device may also include various sensors, a firing disable mechanism, a multiple use and/or disposable fluid path, and/or other mechanisms configured to enhance sterility and prevent contamination.
