The invention relates to novel monoazo compounds of formula (1), wherein Rre resents H, Cl or CH; Rrepresents H or Cl; Mrepresents Mg, Mnor Sr; Y=represents COOor SO; Y=SO; Y=Y=Y=H; or Y=SO, Y=Y=Y=H; or Y=SO, Y=Y=Y=H; or Y=SO, Y=Y=Y=H. The compounds of formula (1) are characterized by high intensity and light-fastness.
