Abstract
The invention relates to an iron. The inventive iron consists of a liquid container ( ) comprising an inlet ( ) which is fitted with means of receiving and guiding the liquid through said opening towards the container. Preferably, the aforementioned means comprise a part ( ) in the form of a slide valve or chute. Moreover, said means, which pass through the opening, can move in translation between a first open position, whereby the liquid can be introduced, and a second closed position, whereby the means are retracted into the iron in order to close the opening ( ).
