Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a digital versatile disc. The process of the present invention includes providing a hot melt adhesive containing at least one thermoplastic elastomer, at least one hydrocarbon resin, at least one poly-&agr;-olefin, and at least one polar wax, and providing at least two disc blanks. The hot melt adhesive is applied directly or indirectly to at least one of the blanks and the blanks are bonded together using the hot melt adhesive. The present invention also provides a digital versatile disc containing the hot melt adhesive.
