Abstract

A remote control signal from a remote controller ( ) is received by one of remote control optical reception parts ( to ), and the respective reception signals are decoded by decoders ( to ). At this moment, the decoders ( to ) extract an address code included in the reception signals received by the remote control optical reception parts ( to ). Based on this address code, an effective-ineffective signal showing effectiveness or ineffectiveness of the decode signal is created. When the effective-ineffective signal shows effectiveness, a decoder selection part ( ) adopts a decoder signal of the corresponding decoder.
