Abstract
There is provided compact load storage equipment that can store a large number of loads. The storage equipment comprises a rotary rack a transferrer one or more fixed racks an inlet port and an outlet port . The rotary rack is supported rotatably about a first vertical axis and includes a number of vertically arranged stages of turning load supports . The transferrer adjoins the rotary rack and includes a carrier which can vertically move and rotate about a second vertical axis. The fixed racks are positioned around the transferrer and each includes a number of vertically arranged stages of fixed load supports . In plan view, the ports and each overlap with one of the rotary and fixed racks and . The transferrer can transfer loads between the carrier and any one of the turning and fixed load supports and and between the carrier and each of the ports and , by the turning and vertical movement of the carrier or by the combination of the turning and vertical movement of the carrier and the turning of the turning load supports
