Abstract

The present invention provides a process for the preparation of acidic lipase from microbial sources with activity at highly acidic pH, the process comprising growing sp. in a fermentation medium containing carbon and nitrogen sources along with nutrients, separating the fungal biomass and recovering the culture filtrate/broth and separating the lipase enzyme.
