Abstract
In a method of manufacturing an organic EL device, an ITO transparent electrode , organic layer and upper electrode are formed in a vacuum on a glass substrate . They are sealed in a nitrogen atmosphere by a sealant. Since they can be formed in an environment not exposed to the outside air, it is possible to prevent impurities from being applied to the ITO transparent electrode , thereby a highly reliable organic EL device.
