Abstract

A discharge tube can continuously discharge at intervals of 2.5 ms in stable fashion in a high-temperature environment at 150° C. A discharge tube,comprises a pair of electrodes,with the discharge surfaces,thereof disposed opposite to each other in a space portion,filled with a sealing gas. Each discharge surface,of the electrode pair,is formed with an insulating layer,composed of an insulating material mixed with potassium bromide and nickel bromide.
