Abstract

A stud welding gun (,) includes a barrel (,) which extends outward from a handle assembly (,). A chuck (,) on an outer end portion of the barrel (,) holds a stud (,) while the stud is being welded to a base member. A stud feed member (,) is manually moved along the barrel (,) from a retracted position to an extended position to sequentially feed studs (,) in a linear array (,) to the chuck (,). The stud feed member (,) has a leading end portion (,) which applied force against a trailing stud (,) in the array (,) of studs to move a leading stud (,) in the array of studs into the chuck (,).
