An interactive video distribution system includes a plurality of interactive video subscriber units (,), a head end facility (,), and a video distribution medium (,). The head end facility (,) is configured to transmit advertisements (,) in connection with an interactive video program (,) and receive requests from one of the subscriber units (,′) to register the advertisements (,) in a menu (,).
