Abstract

An acrylic resin composition for a color filter containing 100 parts by weight of an acrylic resin having acid value of 5 to 100 mgKOH/g and 5 to 90 parts by weight of a coloring pigment is provided. The acrylic resin has been prepared by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing 1 to 6% by weight of .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid, 10 to 80% by weight of .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated carboxylate, and 5 to 30% by weight of N-substituted maleimide.
