Abstract

A diaminobenzene derivative of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein each of P and Q which may be the same or different from each other, is a single bond, or a bivalent organic group selected from the group consisting of --O--, --COO-- and --CONH--, R.sub.1 is a C.sub.2-22 straight chain alkylene group, and R.sub.2 is a cyclic group selected from the group consisting of an aromatic ring, an aliphatic ring, a heterocyclic ring and substituted forms of such rings.
