Disclosed are nonpeptides having bradykinin antagonist activity of the formulae (I) and (II) ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, pharmaceutical compositions containing the compound and methods of treating diseased or pathological conditions using the pharmaceutical compositions.
